Hi Somebody used this device on the 360\430? J2534 Vehicle Communication Interface for Reprogramming and Diagnostics I am going to repair clutch, but the dealer of Ferrari is very far from me... And I searching the tool for calibration TCU
A complete range of products for vehicle diagnostics - TEXA S.p.A. I have the Navigator TXC. It does allow to work on F1 gearbox.
Autoenginuity was not ready when I bought the Texa. Coverage looks similar if not better. May be a better choice than the Texa, now, for the Ferrari/Maserati package. The Texa, with the supercars license, covers a lot of other brands (Porsche, Lambo, Pagani, Aston Martin, ...) with variable coverage.
Yes, this model. The complete package (TXC+cable, software + supercars license) was 4000€ one year ago.
Terry, is it for the Ferrari/Maserati package? Not too bad. Texa is more expensive but includes other brands.
Eric- Not only does it include Ferrari and Maserati, but most European, American, and Japanese cars. You have to buy their big package in order to buy the Ferrari/Maserati package.
Yes Terry, the same for Texa. You have to buy the standard package with usual brands. Then, the Supercars license opens the tool to Ferrari, Maserati, Porsche, Lamborghini, Pagani, ...
Terry, $3500 is not really bad price at all.. Did you have an opportunity to test this tool? I am really interested of buying it, but need some references ...
Milan- No, I bought it for my techs so they could fix an F1 hard fault from a loose potentiometer/sensor. Worked great for that. They are happy with it and have worked on several other Ferraris using the software. Works fine on functions that are accessed through the OBDII connector. Here are read-outs on my F1 system to give you some idea. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Wow, good prices and provides lots of information. The closest place to me which can work on a Ferrari (requiring the SD3 etc.) is 3 hours away. Come clutch time, I'd rather do it myself, but always thought it would be cost prohibitive.
Thanks for the help Terry. I bought the AE system last year at the end of the season. I haven't had many opportunities to use it (Winter) but expect to try it out on a few cars soon.
Does anyone know much about Autoenginuity? I can't figure out the pricing from their web site. Does anyone have one? How well does it work?
The AE tool works pretty well 360's & 430's & Scuds, does not work on the 360CH transaxle. I am glad to have a excellent Indy mechanic with a Leonardo for backup. Well worth the money to me and my friends, also gives you the ability to get into almost every car, with AE you must buy all the packages below Ferrari to get the Ferrari software so you become mr fixit at the track. Nice to be able to help like minded lunatics.
Can you provide more information on TSC, and what you purchased for $600 and the capability? I'm looking to be able to flush F1 plus set PIS. I have a Bosch 340 for the rest. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
