Does anyone know where I can find an exploded view of the top of the AC compressor? I have two wires hanging and cannot see the top of the unit to determine where they go.....Hoping not to have to take the unit down....Thanks

I looked at the picture of the compressor but no wiring is shown unfortunately.

Anyone have actual knowledge of these wires?

You would imagine that 1st wire would be the 12VDC supply voltage to energize the compressor coil off the thermostat and the 2nd wire would be a earth wire to complete the circuit to ground.

That's what I would have said, but I have never actually seen this compressor in place to know.

Usually the clutch self-grounds, and, therefore, I have usually only seen one wire to the clutch contact.

But again, I do not know.

Yeah you would think that, but again I didn't really look on mine either.

From what electrical work I have done on my 348 all the electrical circuits had twin wires though the sure-seal plugs so i'm just assuming the air con clutch coil had the same circuit. Maybe a better preventative maintenance design from Ferrari having a common earth circuit rather than self grounding back to ground through the component?
