You're the one who came on here boasting about remarkable archery skills. We both know you can't make those shots, so why are you pushing this?

Like Darth said, it's very easy to make claims on the internet and much harder to back them up in real life...

Fair enough. Please don't use the edit function on your video, though. :)

I caught up on most the episodes last night, 4 so far? 4th one was the moving targets. Pretty good show, but producers still egging on some drama I don't think is really there.

For sure one thing, I shoot a bunch, shotguns, handguns, rifles, AR style guns, and I’ve shot bows. Almost every single person on there is a much better shot than I’ll ever be!

OK, so every person. :) I wasn't so sure about that last guy that got eliminated, painfully slow and not a great shot, but he proved some skills with the moving targets.

I never expected him to run those targets in the elimination round, either. If not for some unfortunate timing on one plate, he'd have forced a shoot off.

I'm sure the guy wasn't as slow or awkward as he appeared on the show. We've seen how the producers go to great pains to play up drama, so I'm sure this was just another part of that plot.

I just watched the last episode, and I have to say it was exciting and fun. I want to see season two if they make one. I LOVE the highspeed camera work.

The final episode actually put the focus where it should have been for the whole series...on the shooting. None of the stupid drama or other crap that was overplayed through much of the series.

I agree with you on the camera work. Incredible.

And, frankly, I can't STAND yet another reality show. For crying out loud, television and movie producers are boring and unimaginative. And, they get paid how much?

One basic premise is repeated over and over again. Why? Lack of material? And, frankly, if we "glorify" people like the Salahi's (the White House crashers who are now on the Housewives of DC), shame on us!

The vast majority of reality TV is contest shows, be it talent or game shows. Is there any other premise worthy of the lion's share? The rest fall in to "a {tipmeperiod} in the life of boring blue collar people doing their jobs"

If you feel there is a better way, please speak up.

At least these were fun competitions, not the usual cook/dance/sing shows.

    Chicken and egg.

Do producers only give people what they are demanding?

Or, do people watch what's being broadcast?

mostly this. the original tv show "queen's messenger" had a 100% share of TV viewers because it was the only thing on, not because it was quality programming.

Reality is cheaper than regular writers, and Americans have a fascination with the success of the average Joe. We like to make a nobody in to somebody, almost as much as we like to see a somebody fall from grace and become a nobody. Seeing someone with actual talent only amuses us for a few album releases, but we soon forget what we saw in them in the first place.

I don't disagree. Lost was HUGELY expensive to produce, from what I read.

But, speaking of reading, rather than following the next Trista and Ryan debacle, why don't people pick up a book? I choose not to watch garbage. And, even then, I watch too much bad tv.
