I used Porterfield AP 639 R-4 pads up front and Porterfield AP 345 R-4S for the rear when I tracked my 550. They performed well and didn't squeal...

They're good for street use too. I've kept them on as my 550 is always ready for track duty should something go wrong with my F355 Challenge...

Barry- No squeal? Where is the fun in that?

I guess I should talk. No squeal on mine and no dust, either, so even less fun.

Terry - I'm just letting those whose neighbors object to the noise what to use to stop their complaining. :)

Terry - A bit of Pagid brake pad squealing doesn't bother anyone at the track...

Same part numbers for the 456 GT and 456M pads. Just the brake system is different.

While looking at a car to buy I calculated in Europe a cost of 1 euro per Km after the first 10.000 kms where done for the 550 and for the 575 Factory Manual 575. The average Km of the European cars where close to 53.000 km for the 550 and. for the 575 gated the cost per Km was 1.8 Euros and the average Km close to 30.000 in the case of 575 gated I included USA cars. Adding currently market cars offered for sale for the 575 gated the average km the average goes to 42.000 Km.
I bought mine with 60.000 km an hope to enjoy it
