    I find those bullet connectors rather unnecessary and potentially causing problem. If taking the engine out, just unbolt the main cables (ok, a few more minutes of work). I installed Mega-Fuses in place of those bullet connectors. Got the idea from what my Jaguar XJR has factory installed, in the boot, near the battery.

    The bullet connectors were terribly unreliable and the cause of a great many electrical issues on the cars. Eliminating them is a very good idea.
    To the OP, join the club. Everyone F Up sooner or later.

    It should be a lesson to everyone, never ever use color as an indication of where battery cables go.
