Earlier in the week I ordered a pedal set, dead pedal, and chrome shift knob from Hill Engineering.

I hope I ordered the right shift knob .....it is chrome engraved with the shift pattern and there were two options in size: 47 mm and 50 mm. I ordered the 47mm. Does anyone know if this is the same size as the stock shift knob? I hope so!

Hmm. Thats a good question. Some kits come with spacers/gaskets in order to get the better fit. Post some photos when you get your kit in.

The thread inside will be the same in either case.

I belive the smaller one is the correct stock size. I have a larger one that is the size of a 355/360 shift knob, and I think it was the 50mm

I ordered the 50mm and actually prefer it to the stock size. It's quite a bit larger. Even if you 'screwed up', I think you'll be happy with it.
