    Remember when Kubica went completely out of the pit lane lines while exiting at Abu Dhabi last year? Did he ever get a penalty? I think it should have been a drive through but I don't think he got one.

    And remember when Kimi went completely, several car widths, off track outside the lines at Turn 1 at Spa at the start... 2 years in a row! He passed a few cars each time, definitely a blatant rules violation, but didn't get penalized. Won the race one year, was leading the other year.

    So what was your point about Kubica, anyway? ;)

    Kubica finished almost 5 seconds in front of Alonso. If he didn't cross the white lines (which Alonso has done as well this year, China for starters and I believe Valencia as well but not 100% sure) he would still have finished in front of him.

    The blame lies fully with Ferrari and Alonso. Ferrari made a stupid call copying Webber, Alonso could have refused. Then Alonso should have done more, especially in the last 10 laps or so, to try and overtake Petrov. Wrestled himself between him, that Ferrari was built like a tank anyhow. But he chose to wave his arms about after losing the WDC blaming the Russian. He's a prize A pillock and wasn't worthy of a champion last year.

    Just wondering. I guess no one here knows. We all know the stewards are inconsistent. I was just wondering if they overlooked an obvious infraction like they often do, or if they penalized him. I think it is usually a drive through, but maybe they gave him a 10 grid penalty for the next race, which is moot now.
