    I thought that ended with the changing of the body to steel and the 246 designation but somewhere I read that series I Dinos still had knock offs?

    Also when they changed to steel was it all steel except for the doors , hood lid and boot lid?

    Finally I saw a shot of them on an assembly line with Daytona alongside, so they were bodied at Pininfarina?

    Yes, first (L) series had knock-offs.

    Dino 246 and Daytona bodies both made by Scaglietti, I believe.
