    Got a chance to buy an 89 Carrera Targa, and I prefer one w/front and rear wings.Did spoilers make that much difference in stability when going fast?

    Front wing?

    With a rear wing, you should also have a front spoiler. Balance...

    No significant difference until higher double digit speeds.

    They'll increase fuel mileage a bit and hold it down. You'll feel the difference; more planted. Less susceptible to crosswinds.
