    You come across these from time to time, primarily involved in making open air cars from coupes. As we can figure, there should be more involved than just taking a sawz-all to it. Did they put in reinforcement, do the tops fit well, do they have leak issues....that kind of thing.

    The story as I heard it was he did a great job until he tried to do a bunch of, I believe, VWs. When those didn't work, he decided to take an around the world cruise on his boat. I haven't a clue if this is correct, but it makes for a good story.
