    My car only came with keys. No fob. Was that an option or is mine just missing? If so, how can I get a new one?

    Best bet is to find the make/model of your remote unit (assuming one is fitted) and try to find fobs on eBay. Or just replace the unit with a current gen or an alarm system that offers central locking. Be prepared to find some craptastic wiring when you go searching for the unit. ;-/

    It's not a big deal, honestly. I was just curious because the old Clarkson video makes it look like they came with remote locks. I don't need them.

    David, I don't think any 348s came with remote locks even as an option from the factory. Back when they were new it "fashionable" though to add aftermarket alarm systems that did incorporate the remotes. It is probably a blessing they didn't when you read all the trouble the 355s have with their factory remotes/alarm.

    M2.7 F355's have zero issues with remotes.

    Later M5.2's not so.

    Had a late model 348 Spider. No locking fobs on this model.

    AceMaster is correct. Never an option on any 348 series.
