I'm not sure if its just me or the angles I'm seeing but some of the cars appear to have a much thicker/softer spoke and some seem to have razor sharp/thin spokes. Anybody know?

Options price list shows variations on basic rims rather than different rims ie

    Ball polished rims RIMX
    Black painted rims R4CM
    Carbon Fibre Wheels Caps CUPC

I think you are right. There are differences in thickness of the spokes and i think the supplier of the rim was changed mid production.

Correct. Initial rims have thinner spokes.

Would be interesting to see the weight difference, if any.

FWIW, BBS make the FI and the FI-R, the latter being a bit lighter. IIRC the GTO wheels where made by BBS and another manufacturer...would be interesting if the BBS one is based on the FI or FI-R model.
