    ive been trying to pass smog and car just cant get ready (cats still say inc.)



    friend of mine said just unplug battery and replug and try again.

    intead of unplugging battery i went to front of car (frunk) and when car was off i turned off the battery switch then turned on.

    now my emergency blinkers come on randomly. almost like when im slower speed they come on. anyone have this problem?

    i went on the fwy and it was finethen as soon as i pulled over and poped brake the emergency lights came on with the triangle in car.

    what could it be? should i do a real battery reset with taking out black terminal from battery?

    Battery switch could be bad or providing weak contact.

    Huh that sounds strange.

    The closest similar experience I had was One time my parking lights kept flashing/blinking and I also had the triangle of death. All I ended up doing was holding the fob button down for like 20 seconds and it reset something and it was fine. Good luck

    Turn the battery switch off again. Lift the negative cable from the battery. Wait 10 minutes while crossing fingers. Replace the negative cable on the battery. Turn battery switch on. Wait 10 minutes for the car reset.

    Not sure what taking the negative off is going to achieve, try taking both off and do it right. The switch in the fromt compartment is in the negative line and not the positive.

    So to add `more to my story is that my alarm does not work. My key fob does not turn lock or unlock the door. I only use it to drive. Could it be related to the key? Going to get the key programmed or new key from dealer soon.

    i really think its related to the immobilizer. when the hazards blinks the immobalizer lights are flashing too.

    question is do i need a new new new immobalizer or just program?

    The immobilizer is Programmed to the key otherwise how would you release the immobiliser

    talked to a ferrari mechanic,. thats my alarm going off. he said my siren is prob dead. he can reset alarm. question is can i reset alarm and not take it in?
