If you ask for $80 then someone would think they are getting a deal at $40..... but they wouldn't be :)

This would be an outlier in statistical terms. In Ferrari terms this seller is out of his mind.

What he lacks in quality he compensates for in quantity of text and font size.

The seller states in the listing that the car was not wrecked or salvaged, and that ebay's VIN report is wrong. Assuming that is the case, if he can actually find someone that would want that color combo, he would be lucky to get $50k, i'm sure they only made ONE car with that color combo for a reason!

The color combo is not my thing. Especially a non black steering wheel. I'm just trying to understand what was magically done to warrant the price 10k bump. It has been for sale for a while. And without a salvage, was already high by around 10k. So it has only gone up since then.

I'm not trying o rag the guy, but there was a thread on F-chat on this very unique car having a front clip and the weld giving some the chills, so the salvage title seems very legit... regardless of what he may wish.

This car is a pile of crap and we all know it. The thing is that some unsuspecting blind dummy might buy it. BTW there is only one color combo better than that one.....Lime green with a purple interior. :) I think Ferrari made none of them.

Well,,, I was wondering about the same for a while and here is my own conclusion.

Spider + Summer + more demand? => what da heck, the buyer will pay $10k more.

Except his initial pricing is way off. It should be $35k to $45k, not 70 to 80.

Who knows, there is always a butt for every seat, maybe the prefect person will fall in love and have to have it..not me though. In fact, I have a 1969 Ford Galaxie XL that came in those same colors from Ford..I paid to change the interior to black...much better:)
