Bryan: Yes, I bought the Sheehan car. I am VERY pleased. Paid a lot, but got one of, if not the finest, 2400 Spiders in the world. Known and fully documented history from day one. I am the fourth owner. Have all the Italian paperwork. The US head of Advanced Design for Toyota bought the car out of Southern Italy and did a cost no object restoration. Detail effort was beyond belief. Even have a photo of the car on the line at Ferrari. Great car to drive. Feel very lucky I was smart enough to step up and grab it. The RM Elkhart auction car was basically a good car with John Weinberger history (John's cars were always well cared for). However, the owner (who lost all the cars to the bank) bought lots of cars, but took care of nothing. He did make cars "shiny", but then they sat. I think the Dino sold at a discount and would have been a excellent car with a little deferred maintenance done.
