I found this list at the end of the Canadian report of Ferrari's expansion..

Some of the things on the list are well known, while some others may be new to you. Feel free to add Ferrari info, trivia and fun facts. :)

10 things you may not know about Ferrari
    --------------------------------------------
1 There is no such thing as "Ferrari red." Buyers can order any shade of red, such as "rossocorsa" and "rossoscuderia."

2 One of the most popular models, the Dino, named after Enzo Ferrari's son, was never badged a Ferrari because it was powered by a six-cylinder Fiat engine -- utter sacrilege among Ferrari purists.

3 Ferrari dealers say Woodbridge, Ont., just north of Toronto, may have the highest per capita concentration of Ferraris in North America, perhaps the world, thanks to a healthy supply of wealthy people of Italian descent and open roads.

4 Ferrari was built on 12-cylinder cars, but lowly V-8s find their way into 75 per cent of the production run.

5 Of the 120,000 Ferraris produced in 60 years, 90,000 are still on the road.

6 Ferrari's Maranello factory also builds engines for sister GT maker Maserati.

7 If you have a couple of million bucks to spare and can live without cup holders, you can buy a Ferrari Formula 1 racer. A Grand Prix-winning racer driven in 2004 by Michael Schumacher went at auction for $2.7-million (U.S.) to an Argentine buyer.

8 Ferrari's famous prancing horse symbol was first used by an Italian First World War pilot. It was entrusted to Enzo Ferrari after the war and used for his racing team.

9 The slowest Ferrari, the 4-seat, V-12 Scaglietti, lopes from 0 to 100 km/hr in 4.2 seconds. The fastest F430 will do it in 3.6 seconds. Anything faster has been described by some drivers as "nauseating."

10 Cigarette maker Marlboro pays about $200-million (U.S.) a year to sponsor Ferrari's Formula 1 team in spite of the cigarette-ad ban in many countries.
