Didn't get my Oct/Nov Cavallino :(

Yes. Interesting though . . . when the last issue (142) arrived all that came was the envelope. The magazine was missing.

 

No luck for me either!

 

Mine never showed up either. Bought a copy at FOW. When I called them they told me they were mailed before the holiday weekend. I think they need to look into the problem and report back here what is happening.

 

Don't feel so bad folks. I always get mine about a month late.

 

Bernie...but at least yours shows up! Of course, we could invade your country, make you the 51st state and then guarantee you that yours would be lost in the US postal system! LOL!

Maybe your Postman is reading it and has not finished. They took a YEAR's worth of my Rosso Ferrari.........LOL!

Regarding Cavallino #143 ... take it from one who knows! ... trying to get this last issue out was a nightmare/miracle... our office went through three hurricanes in three weeks. Then, getting it through the postal system in South Florida was another trick...

Hang in there...if you haven't gotten it yet, give us a call: 561-994-1345.

As to the magazine envelope arriving without the magazine, I can tell you that each time an issue is sent, we get an average of 10-12 calls concerning this. It's a chronic problem, but not a big one. All you have to do is call the office and we will send you another copy.

Mine came in the last day or two (to California), safe and sound. Read it last night - loved the details article on the Lusso - lots of the bits looked really familiar. Is it really that critical which way the clamps point (for judging points), or is this just a point of the historical record?

If you are into the classic Ferraris, it's worth every penny. I read my cover to cover, probably twice, and am currently trying to collect back issues, whcih if you are not careful, can end up costing as much as a major Fcar repair.

It's a must have if you want to know way more than you need to about classic Ferraris.

Plus, the photographs are stunning, and the printing quality of the magazine is superb. I print for a living, and I'd be very proud if Cavallino was coming off my presses.

 

It is worth the money. I have bought a number of back issues off of e-bay and enjoyed every one. The photo's are top quality and the articles are some of the best written. Our postal system is getting worse every day.

By the way...you Canadians sure you don't want to become the 51st state!

I just got mine on Nov. 29th.

 

Got it over three weeks ago. That original Lusso is something else. I couldn't believe one headlight still had the paper tag on it!
