I prefer Hot Wheels because they are priced to own and are quite accurate. I would love to own the higher grade models, but if I could afford those, I could afford a few F-cars. 1:18, again, the price is right.

1/18 - Greatest scale known to man

 

1/18 is best. 1/12 looks nice but takes up to much space. Anything smaller lacks detail.

What is your favorite manufacture? Exoto...may soon change to CMC...2nd place goes to Kyosho.

Color Ferraris you prefer collection? Red, Yellow, & Black (with the exception of race cars, that could be any color)

How many cars do you own? Haven't counted recently, but probably in the neighborhood of 50-60.

Do you like die cast or plastic models or both? Primarily diecast, but if I had the skill to do resin and plastic kits like "ItalianHorses", you can bet I would.

I would say the Exoto GPC97061 1971 Ferrari 312B, Grand Prix of South Africa, #6, Mario Andretti is my nicest. But I think Minichamps does very well for 1:43. Yes, there are higher quality, but much more expensive. Spark is doing well, along with IXO in 1:43, for what appeals to me.

You can find fault with any model, but I like the ones above.

 

Interesting - I have the same 312B (GPC97061), and I was fortunate enough to be able to get Mario to autograph the nose of the car... It's definitely a "centerpiece" in my collection.

I apologize for being vague, but what I *meant* to ask was, "Of your 1/43 333SPs, which do you find to be the best?"

I only ask because, in my opinion, the 1:18 HW 333 in MOMO livery isn't exactly stellar, and if I'm going to add a 1/43 to my collection, I want to know I'm getting "the best."

The Spark are very nice and still pretty available. The Spark are mostly the same as the minichamps, but fewer. Minichamps made 13 1:43 versions, but they are hard to find. Some pop up on Ebay every now and then.

In terms of value for money, I like Bang and Artmodel.

Herpa made some very good plastic 1:43 models, but I'll take diecast.

She's not all in my face about it, but she does keep an eye on spendings. Which is good.

In my collection? Difficult.
I like my yellow 512 S (AMR) and 348 TB Zagato (Replicars), but I like all of my little cars.

 

I feel that the Spark is a little more refined. I only have the yellow Le Mans 1995 one. Like to have more, like in the picture you showed. The 333 rocks.
