    Does anyone have any recommendations for diecast car shops in Tokyo? I am mostly interested in 1/43 Kyosho and also I am looking for the 1:12 Tamiya 288 GTO.

    I will tour around all the major areas of Tokyo including Akihabara, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Hirajuku, etc.

    There is both a Tamiya and Kyosho shop in Tokyo.
    Google for the location and opening hours. Must visit.
    Items are not always avaliable in the US.

    Try Yamashiroya near the Ueno JR Station and LAOX Hobby near the Akihibara JR Station. Both are multistoried toy stores.
