Do you guys think there is a big differance of shields in quality wise, been to the dealer and they want a couple hundred dollars for theirs, while seen ebay stuff for a fraction of dealer price. What would you buy? Is the dealer just making a huge profit?

The nice ones are enameled and contoured whereas the less expensive ones are decals or decals on magnets.

best quality shields are IMO the ones from Yoshi. I just recently ordered them for my soon to arrive 355 spider and also ordered his keychain which is equally stunning. Make sure you get the Fchat discount from him. They are incredible looking and fit great!

I love the look of the shields however I am reluctant to say, and maybe im alone, i wouldnt want to take away from the stock look and paint of my 348. When i was looking to buy, i made a point to stay away from ones WITH the added shields. Stayed away from ones with the carbon fiber consoles and all the other aftermarket dress up stuff that's out there. Where I come from, a clean, un modified car is always worth a few bucks more.

What have you folks experienced and seen as far as the buyer's market is concerned? Im a new Ferrari owner so i value your opinions.

If your plan to museum the car or make it 'concourse correct' then go stock. But on these older (15+ years) cars there are many ways to IMPROVE the car. Ok, so 'bling' may be a personal choice, but making the car lighter, stronger, more reliable, etc. by using better components are an added bonus IMHO.

I agree with that I have added several things to my cars that improve the look, sound and performance however they can all be undone if a buyer wanted to do that. I am going to have the cars the way I like them as I am the one driving them I take very good care of my cars and dont want to spend time worrying about who buys them and what they might think of any one minor add on. Drive them enjoy them
