    Question?

Does anyone know if there exists any differences between the ferrari 355 that were manufatured in july - december 2004 vs the ones manufactured in 1995?. Is there any suttle differences in the back end of the car, I notice that the ones maufactured in 1994 look sligtly different, might just be my eyes?.

You say "any suttle differences in the back end of the car".
Are you talking about the pysical visual look of the rear of the car? I don't think there was any difference to the rear over all look of the car, (although there was a few touches in the engine bay, but that was not what i beleved the question to be about)
I wonder if you might have seen both variations of the rear bumper. But both types of bumpers are found on all the ranges of 355. Anyway, some bumpers have 8? slots i beleve in the black strip of the rear bumper, some bumpers do not and the slots are filled in. I don't know why but some are.
Is this the kind of difference you are talking about?

The bumper 'slots' you are referring to are in the US rear bumpers that meet the 2.5 mph impact test, but not the Cdn rear bumpers........ because the Canadian cars have 5 mph impact bumpers which require additional reinforcement .

I don't believe there are any other exterior cosmetic changes to the rear end of the early 355's.

I have a 1995 F355B without the bumper slots. This car has never been registered outside the state of Texas--but I cannot say where the other two owners might have driven it.

Just info for the topic here, my "97 355CH has a Euro rear bumper and has the slots in it.
This topic was discussed a year or 2 ago and I don't think there was any definitive answer except that some earlier cars came with slots and some didn't.

The 2 94 cars I have seen were both Berlinetta's and did not have airbags. I have seen some 95 cars without airbags so I am not sure if the manufacture date has anything to do with it???

I think he is talking about the view from the rear of the car.

I thought that the 94 engines had lighter pistons and other changes. IIRC, Daniel has a 94 kit (or can make one up - or I could really easily be Wrong on that).

Wasn't there a thread about this about a year ago?
