Can anybody explain to me what exactly the difference is between an Euro Weber Carb and a US Weber Carb? I have heard that there is something different but nobody can tell me what is different. Thnx

Your question is far too vague. If you mean "what is the difference between Euro 308 Weber 5-bolt 40DCNF carbs and US 308 Weber 5-bolt 40DCNF carbs", this chart from the Haynes Weber book shows the variations in the emulsion tube/jets, but we also know that the progression hole pattern has also varied (try a search on "progression holes" - IIRC, there are prior threads with photos):

Progression hole pattern is the main difference. Everything else is pretty much the same other than jetting which isn't all that different. That being said, with modern fuel being what it is, original jetting is inadequate anyway.
