    Any difference in these basic heads? Will they interchange? Difference in valve covers? Will they interchange?

    After motor 38150, they were all the same. I think (but cannot confirm) even the early ones will work, but the spark plug cover bolt alignment is different.

    Valve covers are machined to the head and should never be seperated. If you do you will never get it oil tite again.

    Brian is it true that the 2.7 have a better air flow (esp early 2.7) than the 5.2 which were redesigned because the air flow was large enough on the early heads that they had failures with the oil channels.

    Early 95 heads had a very slight edge in flow. It was changed mid year.

    Your car should have those heads.

    There was a rumor that some early 95 heads were "bad" and replaced under warrantee and found there way into a few challenge cars somehow.
