I am looking at buying a 2002-2005 Maserati in the next year. What is the difference between the Grand Sport and the Cambiocorsa. I am looking at a coupe.

Suggest you check on the other Maserati forum as well (apparently can't post link on this forum, so Google search will find it for you). It caters more to modern Maseratis and should have lots of info on CC's versus Gran Sports.

Sorry for any confusion. My post says "more TO modern Maseratis. By that I mean the other forum tends to focus on cars from the 3200, 4200 and current models, i.e., late 90's to current. Lots of discussion about the cars which interest you: differences, what to look for, issues, etc.. It's my impression that F-Chat's Maserati sub-forum tends to reflect interest in the classic cars of the 60's and 70's, with a number of owners and marque experts providing comment.

Looks like you are confused and you don't know the model names correctly.

The GranSport only comes with a Cambiocorsa gearbox, it IS a Cambiocorsa car.

Maybe you wanted to ask, what is the difference between the GranSport Coupe and the 4200 Cambiocorsa Coupe? While the two cars look similar, they are completely different underneath, the GS is alot sportier (lowered and stiffer suspension, etc) and more aggressive overall (Sport button, exhaust with electronic flaps, faster gear changes, ECU, etc).

If you want an easy and comfortable GT, go for the 4200. If you want something sportier then go for the GranSport.
