Does anyone know specific technical differences between 575M model years? Were there enhancements or "bug fixes" that anyone knows of? I am considering the purchase of one, and have looked at an 02 and an 04, with similar miles. I like the color combo of the 02, but should I take the newer model year one? Thanks!! Any personal experiences to share would be much appreciated.

One of the quickest ways of discerning 2004 & 2005 models from other is that 2004 & 2005's have chrome front grills + a "575M" badge on the trunk lid.

To my knowledge, besides software updates, there is no mechanical differences between the years.

Thanks. Anyone else have any advice on an 02 vs 04 575?

unless there is a significant price or mileage difference, i would go for the younger car. remember these things are mostly handbuilt, so luigi and gino get better at it as they go along...meaning the 04 will have fewer mistakes. and the the 04 may have a better iteration of the magnetti marelli black box.

I have an 05, got it with 900 miles on it. Had it for two years now and I'm still fixing things that
were not right. So I don't think the more they do it the better they get. My 98 550 never touched it.
