Correct, and the maps are posted on here if you do a little searching, I think they're in the service manual somewhere.

I don't think this was brought up but the 95 usa version is geared taller than the 99 usa car. The 99 is geared the same as the Swiss car in 95.

I should clarify sixth gear only. That being said it should be obvious in a race especially a roll on in sixth gear.

I wonder if 96-99 challenge cars are equipped with all the minor changes, but just simply stuck with the 2.7 system or are they equipped with what is mostly seen in a 95 car setup?

is there more room to move seat back on the 95s bc none of the leather covered panels are present? Seems logical that there is more room.

95's also come with a 1 Stage paint and I believe Ferrari switched to a 2 Stage paint 96+. It is generally argued solid colors (red, black, yellow, etc) have more depth and color vibrance vs a 2 Stage paint job (base coat + clear coat). All the older iconic Ferraris we know of such as the 288, F40, F50, Enzo are 1 stage paint.

Single stage paint oxidizes easily but when buffed comes alive.

So when respraying a bumper on a 95 does the process need to be different? Should the shop be made aware? Any answers on my seat question?

No idea on the seat. If the car has single stage paint it should remain so if you want it to look consistent.

Some shops will repair/blend with clear (and many people couldn't tell the difference) but this isn't the correct way IMO.
