    I'm currently finalizing my order for a 458 Spider and wanted to know if it's possible to order a medium driver side racing seat with a large passenger side racing seat?
    My dealer didn't know and sent an inquiry to the factory. He has yet to get a response. I'm running out of time to lock in my order.
    I would think this request has been requested before especially if this car was spec'ed out for a woman driver with a larger husband.

    There has indeed been a thread about this. IIRC, the response to installing different size seats was a no go. It can't hurt to ask again. I reckon you could purchase another seat after market and have the dealer install keeping the original. I'm not sure how much they would charge you or how much of a hassle. One would surmise that the cost would be half of what the racing seats option costs (~3500) + shipping. Somehow, I think the cost will be much higher.

    a friend with the base seats wanted to upgrade to the racing seats, turns out it was just ridiculously expensive to get the OEM ones (IIRC is was high $teens).

    I was told that the US market the only seat homologated for import was the Size L, but I believe someone on the board was able to get a medium, so I would guess that you CAN order different sizes, even if it's an Extra Campionario thing.

    If you are going to keep the car long term and that is what you want, you should try and get it how you want it. If you anticipate selling, remember little people can fit in big seats, big people cannot fit in little seats. We have the large seats, I had custom leather pads made to make it more comfortable for my wife.

    I don't believe it's possible to order two different sizes.

    I ordered medium race seats. I love the size.

    What are the sizing for race seats?
    Is it according to waist girth? I am 32 inches.

    We were at the dealer today finalizing an F12 spec. We are getting the racing seats in the F12 (and have them in the 458). Out of curiosity I did ask if we could get different sized seats; the dealer response was that they could; it would have to be a special request (Extra Campionario) and they would need to confirm that they could get other than large size seats in NA (apparently had been an issue previously).

    They did accompany that with a "resale" warning regarding a smaller seat if/when you resell. They also mentioned that it should be possible to get the (new) carbon racing "style" seat - i.e. same seat but with different/perforated leather - in 2014 if that interests anyone.
