Different type of seats explained please

These are the regular 360 electrically adjustable seats, like mine but I have them in black.

The most comfortable seat IMO

Only people who don't have Daytona seats dis Daytona seats. They are what virtually everone wants.

 

Daytona "type" seats have inserts with a hole pattern in them. They were 1st introduced in the 365GTB & Dino..............

I am not sure what "dis" means, but I do not prefer Daytona seats. I passed on many a 430 because of it. I polled all of my demographic (ladies and gents) and nobody picked the Daytonas. This was especially true for the multi color Daytonas. So for my target audience; "me", and my constituents, the Daytonas were the last pick with the Challenge and Normal getting most of the votes. The Challenge and Racing seats are quite rare but would have not been a problem if the perfect car had them.

I am glad you like your Daytona seats, and I respect your seat decision.

 

In my opinion there are 3 different styles depending on how you view your Ferrari car :

1) If you like vintage Ferraris and view your Ferrari as a classic car that should hint at Ferrari's history and previous models (see 365 GTB, 512 BB, Dino etc) then : DAYTONA seats are for you

2) If you like racing Ferraris and track the car a lot or just want to have a Challenge Stradale / Scuderia look and feel in your car, and are willing to make a small compromise in comfort vs the benefit of support, then : RACING SPORT seats are for you

3) If you like the original look of your Ferrari, just as Ferrari launched the car, and also want a good mix between sports look and luxury, then : STANDARD seats are for you

 

BTW Rob, nice colour interior - orange with black piping and red dash.

 

I have the sport seat option. Attached is a picture. This is essentially a CS seat with a leather covering.

I thought those always came with a harness?? Mine look same as yours but with harness.
