    Hello,

Continuing to inspect and sort my 94 348 Spider w/ 46K miles. Currently replacing a rear outer CV boot. In the process noted the pass. side diff. has approx 1/4" lost motion when the axle is rotated. The drivers side is less but has some as well. Car drives well with no noise detected from this area.

Would the experts please give me some input on this and steps to correct if needed.

    Thanks,

    Brewman

Can you quantify how much lost motion is considered normal ?

    Thanks,
