After going through the threads, I moved from Castrol hypoid (F-mechanic said use as replacement) to the Redline NS. If anything, shifting seems more laborious even after car has warmed up. Also, I noticed that when I turn a corner from a dead stop, it feels like the wheels are riding on uneven pavement, more obvious on a right hand turn, but also perceptible on the left.

Any insights would be much appreciated

The chatter when you go around corners is due to the LSD. Add some Redline slip additive and that should eliminate that. They suggest to add 1 ounce at a time. The shifting however will not get any easier.

The Redline 75-90 NS has always made my cars shift better. You may have another issue contributing to the hard shifting.

I added about 4 ounces of Limited Slip additive to mine and it stopped the differential chatter while still retaining the smooth shifting.
