    Hello
    I have 2 pairs of shocks absorbers for F355 and they are differents
    one have ref 183634 and one have 183633
    the spring are longer on the one with ref 183633 ...
    can the 183633 replace the 183634 and how do you explain those diffrences ? new model ?

    I think 183634 is for the rear, and 183634 is for the front - they are different lengths.

    yes just saw it on ricambiamerica website...but they have same lenght do you think the front and rear can be mixed ?

    They might look the same, but if they have a different part number it's probably because they are valved differently to suit the spring rate the designer guy selected.

    I mistook of refs, mine have 157634 and those I bought on ebay (sold for rear shocks) are 157633
    The thing I dont understand is that this ref no longer exist at ferrari store.
    and on ricambi website this old refs are done for 348 shocks with actuator system..
    So did the 348 last model shared the same shocks with the firts 355 ?

    I'm pretty sure that old 348 reference on the Ricambi site is an error. There is an online catalogue with diagrams at http://www.eurospares.co.uk that is good for x-referencing part numbers.

    here is what say eurospares the ref 157634 no longer exist...
    and they did not fit on 348...

    Different internal valving.

    Will fit 348 with adapter spacers on lower mount; but of course 348 doesn't have the electronics to utilize active damping system.

    If you have extra used shocks for F355 I'll buy them.
