Dilemma, which detector for which car?

    Hey all,

    Need some advice, got a tough decision here....First a little info:

    I've owned my V1 for about three years now, been a great radar detector. Paid for itself many times over. Love it, wouldn't get rid of it for anything.

    However....

    I've also purchased a Passport SRX, mainly because of its laser "shifting" abilities. But my question lies herein...

    Which car to install it in???

    Car #1 is my daily driver Mercedes-Benz turbodiesel. Probably sees 20-25K miles per year.

    Car #2 is my 308GTSi. Doesn't see more than 10K per year but it would be nice to have laser protection in a car that draws a lot of unwanted attention from the federalis.

    So, which car would you choose?

    I have a V1 in everything I drive.

    I travel the Garden State Parkway in NJ quite frequently and the V1 is the only detector to get the job done. My friends have gone through K40's, BEL's and Passports always returning to the best on the market: The V1.
