Well I sold my car and wanted a 360. Based upon recommendations I was looking for an "02 or later. Now I have found a 2000 that is the color I wanted, passed the PPI (had a small seal leak which will be repaired)......and the price is pretty fair. It is an F1 car. Should I be scared of the 2000? It has 14k miles and is pretty spectacular with all the maintenance done including a clutch at 12k miles. The price is $75.5K. OR, should I save a little more and purchase a newer model - although the color is hard to find. (rosso Fiorino)
Does that color "hurt" the value of the car at resale?

I have to say yeh or nay by Monday.....(I KNOW "asked and answered" before - but this is a significant purchase for me, so I thought I would provide some greater details and see what guys have to say) The interior is grey....

By the way, you guys steered me right on my last car....I remember being nervous then too, but this is MORE money.

Most if not all depreciation has left that car at the moment. The fiorano shade has become my new favorite of the Rosso choices. It more than likely won't hurt resale, it just may sit for a bit longer. You might get lucky at the time of sale and find someone looking for fiorano. The only problem you will have regarding color is the grey seats. Since the car checks out I would buy it and enjoy it.

How much clUtch life is left? Fioano is a great color and has been popular based upon perusal of f-chat comments. I agree with above that some in the market are looking for Red/tan. Many are looking for something different and interesting. It may indeed sit for a bit but not unsellable. If YOU like it then get It. I wouldn't worry too much about the year if all else is to your liking IMO. You probably could find an '02 or '03 for not mucH more thank you are paying (maybe less). BUT, if You found a good car then snatch it up. You may not find one as clean.

If this is the car you want, buy it. I waited a few years and then "my car" came up for sale. It was the one I had waited for. I passed on others that were not exactly what I wanted. I didn't really have as much saved for the car that I wanted but I went for it anyway and I'm glad I did. My car is Rosso Corsa. I like the Fiorano. Grey interior wouldn't sway me away.

Not a negative necessarily. To be honest, when I sit in my car I really couldn't tell you what color the seats are, I just don't notice them for some reason. If they were black, tan, grey, or blue it wouldn't matter. The only time you notice them is when looking at the car and in photos. It seems like you want the car so you should go for it.
