Ok really struggling with the finish for my challenge wheels......Ive narrowed it down to white or madturks bronze.... What do you guys think (355 is Rosso Corsa)
I had white challenge wheels on my first 355. Never again. I love the look but unless I have carbon ceramic brakes, it's just not worth the mess.
I didn't particularly like the original wheels on my 348 until they got the dirty gold/bronze treatment. Much better! Plus it reminds me of the wheels on the Ferraris in the movie "Le Mans" Image Unavailable, Please Login
White looks great, so could black with white or yellow text. Silver with black text would be a nice clean take on it, not quite as racer-ish.
My friend, I cheated... I didn't want to redo the wheels just yet because I'm so wishy-washy. I just couldn't decide between gold/bronze and black. So I cheated. I did the plasty dip thing. Gold/bronze with satin finisher. Total cost $80. It looks beautiful and best part if I change my mind it'll take me couple of hours to redo them in black.
I hate you man. I want cf seats. They look good. QUOTE=sherpa23;144146018]It depends on whether you have seats like these or not.[/QUOTE]
Haha. Well, I jumped on the seats because I know how rare they are but I bought a 360 instead of a 355 or another 348 and now I have no car for them. I offered them to Robb for a trade but he has bigger things to worry about for the time being. So for now, they will just get cleaned and covered and sit in the basement. But they really make a 355 right and complete a 355 set up with Challenge wheels.
He has something that I like for trade and has like 8 jillion 355's lying around. I thought that was the most brotherly thing that I could do. You have a Panerai or Rolex to trade, broski?
A prior owner put f355 berlinetta seats in the Serie Speciale I wound up purchasing. My goal is to restore it to its former glory...
