I want to add a set of track day tires for my 355 GTS F1 but am not sure what dimension to go for. It seems hard to find what we call R-tires (track day tires) in the 18" so I am thinking of going to 19". Anyone with experience of tracking the 355 and what rim widths and diameter to go for? Looking at the Pirelli Pzero Corsa System 19” seems to be the best choice.

I have P-zero Corsas, but bigger 18s. I have 245 fronts and 315 rears, both on the stock rims. No spacers, no rubbing thus far, but road only. Won't be at the track until October. At the time I bought them, this was about the only R-compound set I could get for the stock rims. If you go full slicks, I think the options are better, but I wanted something I could drive to the track.

I checked the Pirelli site today and it looks like they no longer make the 315 tire. I tried a lot of different combinations and the only conclusion I get out of it is that in order to get correct over all wheel height I need to go to 19", at least with Pierlli Pzero Corsa.

Closest match to 265/40R18 and 225/40R18 would probably be:
305/30ZR19 (98Y) PZERO CORSA ASIMMETRICZ and 225/35ZR19 (84Y) PZERO CORSA DIREZIONALE

Not sure what rim size width to go for in this case though
