What's on the menu for your Thanksgiving? Traditional turkey or doing something differently?

What are the sides? How much can you eat :D

turkey, roast potatoes, brussel sprouts *shudder*, something else I can't remember, and gravy.

And for dessert, a lemon meringue pie. My mouth is watering already.

This is what I would've had IF my thanksgiving was tomorrow, but luckily for me, I'm Canadian, and had it a month ago

    :D

Just finished stuffing the turkey and getting it into the oven. I have a new oven with a built-in temperature probe, so we'll see how that works.

My in-laws are Japanese, so I eat all the traditional foods at my mom's house, and then we head to the in-laws and I eat only make-your-own sushi. My wife's mom makes a big bowl of sushi rice, cuts several types of fish (including a spicy tuna mix) and has fresh nori for rolling or making hand rolls. A fantastic combination of food for the day.

This is the first year we soaked the bird for 24 hours in brine from Willams Sonoma. It was FANTASTIC. Buying another bag for Christmas!
