This Dino 1970 Ferrari Dino 246 GT | Gooding & Company at the upcoming Scottsdale Auction visually doesn't make sense to me. Gooding says chassis *0600* and Ferrari Classische Certified. That would make it an L-Series but has the 5 bolt pattern wheels. No other photos except the one exterior shot. Estimate is $550K - $750K.

This is 00600, owned by Dutch Ferrari collector Nico Koel for a long time. I've been told that this particular Dino has several unusual but original features. IIRC the bumperettes are thinner and the egde of the rear deck has a small lip on it.

Goodings will probably point these details out in their upcoming description.

    Matthias,

Thanks for the clarification. Interesting the prototype was built so early in the L-Series production and not transitioned in towards the end. It would do Gooding well to write a small description with the photo when it is first presented online. I'm sure they will before the auction.

Would love to see more pictures given it's originality. A GT in white really looks similar to the 1966 Ferrari 365 P Berlinetta Speciale.
