Well I think that is a problem value wise but if you picked it up for cheap and you dont intend on reselling it then I supose its ok.But it also depends on who did the conversion and how it was done

ouch.. looks suss to me... like it was stripped for parts by the end buyer.....

money pit. Will always be a converted LHD car with dubious history.. best hope for future would be a stripped out track car... worth $100K MAX done and finished.

85k sounds a bit steep.I suppose its just another auction hype sale as I dont think it would of sold for that much if it went private but i cant comment on it 100% as I haven't seen the car in person.By the way did anyone on this board buy the car?

Wow $85k. I'm happy with that. My pristine 246GTS must be worth $200k now.

Unfortunately it doesn't work that way. Novice Ferrari buyers will always overpay for a POS old banger, rather than buy the best example they can find. It is always a cheaper overall ownership experience; but try and tell a newbie that.

Agree. I went through a phase of pouring loads of cash into clapped out old sportscars before I learn't my lesson(luckily before I started bying Ferraris)
