Hi, the engine of my 246 is awaiting to return to its engine bay. I remember that some time ago, extracting it from its niche, was a nightmare. Very tight environment.

I have searched this forum for a video showing engine installation, but have not found any. Can anybody here tell me if there are any, or altervativlely provide a video / fotos / hints?

    Help would be highly appreciated.

    Georg

When both removing and re-installing the engine consider removing the bell housing. It narrows the engine a lot and makes it MUCH easier to get into place. Re-installing these pcs with the engine installed is very easy and it is worth the time to follow this procedure.

Thank you Kevin + Sergio + Nuvolari for all your helpful tips and recommendations. Today, I took a deep breath, and plunged the engine into its bay. Finally, it was less tragic than suspected. The most helpful item was a bar, that helped to tilt the whole engine.
A very helpful item came form Fiat Dino and Fiat 130.
    Thanks again
    Georg
