Dino 246 Ignition

So the Dino has not been used in a few years and now does not want to start, it turns over but no spark, points look ok but nothing at any plugs.

There seem to be lots of ignition systems listed but not mine, if its not original it has been on 30 years plus, its a blue box made by Bosch 0 227 051 021

Also have bosch resistors and coil.
If anyone has any knowledge on this I would appreciate it, thanks

Refer to Magneti Marelli Dinoplex, SAE701 and Microplex Repair and Restoration Documents for more information about different ignition systems.
Maybe you take the chance and return to a Dinoplex setup

 

Hi, Did you manage to rectify your problem.

I have the exact same ignition system on my 246gt. Also have the same problem with getting no spark.

The ignition packs are repairable I believe.

 

Welcome to the 206/246 Dino section of FCHAT with your first post. If you could post some photos of your current ignition system, or a link to your photos of your ignition, some of us here (not necessarily me!) might be able to make more specific suggestions. [I can't remember if you can post photos if you are not subscribed to FCHAT or not . . . ]
