Is this the same car now for sale at Classic Throttle Shop Looks great - Any history ? Is it a well sorted car? Thanks David
Not sure but it was at the Melbourne concourse in 2008 Not sure if its stayed it Melb since Hopefully the owner can shed some light
Not so sure that the car is aussie delivered as stated in the ad as I've only ever seen that cross bar between the front bumpers on UK delivered cars. Steering wheel and Jack bag are obviously incorrect. Jack bag alone is worth $1000 but it least it has a jack which sell for $2500( if you can find one). Is there a full tool kit and bag? ($4000). Full set of books/manuals with correct folder ?($4-6000) CTS mostly sell cars on consignment. The club register lists the owner. If I was interested I would track him down and make an offer (CTS would want $10-15k to sell that car). $180k would be a good offer if there are no real issues with the car. If the car has been in Sydney for some time then there is a more than reasonable chance that Cavallino Motorsports in Brookvale have worked on it at some stage, so give them a call Interesting that the Dino register states that the same chassis number is being used by a LHD car in France (that car presumably has been stolen/rebirthed)
Thanks Greg - Great Advice BTW Love your current car and the cars you've had Great minds must think alike Out of interest did you grow tired of the 246 - I'm curious as to how long people hang on to them thx for yr help to date
I had it for about 10 years. It was my dream car but I just grew out of it and it got to the point where I could not see $250k value in it and so I sold it and pocketed the cash. C4 suits me at the moment as my six year old can sit in the back and come on drives
If you mean this one http://www.classicthrottleshop.com/car13.html it looks beautiful! Wish I knew something about it to be able to help.
oh...very good Romy....it does look like it! If it's that car, he traded it and a 360 for a Scuderia, which he's now traded on a 599. It's had quite a lot of work done. if it's him old one, i can get you in touch.
it looks like it. I heard the guy who bought it (after awhile), wanted to get rid of it. It's not MINT. HAs a few problems that could have been fixed by now......not sure.
I had a look at this car about an hour ago..didn't speak to the salesman about it though..on the outside it looks very clean, not mint as others have pointed out but clean..and yes the steering wheel isn't original.I noticed cracking on the paint in the seam where the rear drivers side buttress meets the body..The shutlines in general seemed ok.
