A Dino in need of restoration, any one who have some info? It was for sale, but seem to be sold yesterday? ciao/ Bjorn
Where was the car? I know of an early "L" Series in need of restoration that was bought recently in California. Freeman
I don't know of this serial number's recent offering, but there have been quite a few Dino's sold over the last 1 1/2 months both in the US and Europe
that Dino was offered by an Austrian dealer here in Europe, but the car was located in the USA... we still see a lot of Dinos coming back from USA to Europe.... last one arrived one week ago, #05244, now offered for sale in Denmark
Hi, I bought #00962 last year and have started restoring it. I've been reading fchat for some time and I have really enjoyed reading the discussions, there's alot of great information in this forum and thanks for sharing. I first rode in a relatives dino as a teenager and knew I would own one. This particular car I chose after about 10 years of looking, a few candidates escaped. I wanted to do a restoration, and this turned out to be a great candidate (yes, obsessed with originality). This car has sat since the early 80's, so 36k miles is original based on the history and thanks to Matthias Bartz, Matthias Urban at dinoregister and Chad at FML for help. There's alot of work to do, pretty much everything needs going through but it's all there. I thought I knew everything about dinos, until I owned one. If anyone in the northeast or San Francisco area with a 206gt or L-series who is willing to let me look at it for comparison, please pm me. Andrew
I know you're going to want photos, here are some from the ad that Shawn put up last year: http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=304801
