If you want to see and hear my Dino, with the Stebro exhaust, click the link. It's about 8 MB, but should buffer and run pretty quickly. http://www.pennphoto.com/pages/dave/dino_movie_2.wmv
Yep, that fridge is ugly all right. My lovely bride, who is more cost conscious than I, has decided it stays till it dies. In return, I refuse to re-paint it, hoping that it will rust through. Went with the coupe becuase I like the lines better. The side windows, behind the driver and passenger windows, look very nice. I also did not like the squeaks and rattles that accompany the Spyder. I got a US version, so it has a little air conditioning to keep things slightly cooler. And Dale, you gotta get yourself one of these, it's a blast to drive.
Dave your car looks and sounds great! What camcorder did you use for that, BTW, nice picture. How far are you from the DC area? We should get our Dinos together sometime! Scott
It's my kid's Sony. Pretty high end, although I don't exactly know which model, about a year and a half old. it was about $1300 at the time. We're going to re-shoot and shoot additional footage as he's working on a short film to submit to Tisch in the fall for admission. Any friends at NYU? I'm a little south of Phila. Baltimore is probably about 1/2 way for each of us.
I'm about 3.5 hrs from Baltimore (in central Virginia, charlottesville). You're that far from Baltimore? The film looks good. I may have to get out there and shoot some myself now. ;-) scott
Nope, I punted that calculation. Figured you were near DC. If you're 3.5 hrs from Baltimore, then I would figure you're about 2-2.5 to DC? Some point north of DC would be a mid point. IS there anything about 1/2 hour north of DC on I95????
Dave, Thanks for sharing your car with us. Beautiful footage. Can't wait to see the final movie. Even though I have a spyder, I also prefer the lines of the coupe. But I couldn't give up wind in the hair motoring in SoCal. One day, I want to have a coupe to keep my spyder company. Enjoy your car, Manny
Yea 2 hours to DC from here. Maybe Ferrari of Washington would be a fun place to meet one day even tho its a bit further for you. At least we could see some other Ferraris! 1/2 hour north of DC on 95? Dunno, prob a rest stop! ;-)
My wife loves DC, spent some time working there, (Feds) and loved it. SO, maybe a nice Weekend we could meet at FoW and see what's what.
Sounds good -- let me know the next time you're heading to DC and maybe we can meet up. We used to live in Arlington, so go back there from time to time, as well. Scott
