I bought this years ago when I had my GT4. Here is what I know, and what I don't know about it. I have no idea if it was made like this or if at some point someone added a sticker to the dial (I suspect a sticker was added but I can't prove, or disprove it) I can't prove it but being a watch nut I can tell you the style looks correct for a mid 70's piece It has a 14kt gold fluted bezel & case and has a stainless back (the fluted case is cool if you're a retro watch guy) There are no other maker's marks on the outside of the watch The dial is a silver pie-pan dial with gold sticks The movement is a PUW 360 made in Germany by Pforzheimer Uhrenrohwerke and is marked as such It keeps great time The strap on it is a padded genuine croc strap made by Rios1931 in Germany that is beautiful I paid way too much for it, I'm sure How about $200 shipped? If you don't like that deal make me an offer. It is a good conversation starter and some GT4 guy needs it more than I do. I got a buddy down here in his 80's driving a GT4. this looks like the perfect item for him. Let me check with his SON, also a member here and good friend, and see if it's appropriate for him. I'll check back in tomorrow. D
I live in Louisiana, and I assume the "Louisiana Crocodile" is an honest mistake, since ... we don't have crocodiles here!
