I had a hot start difficulty problem and my mechanic traced it down to the faulty coil. He installed a new Bosch coil and a hugh resistor thing and it starts fine now cold or hot. However, the idle rpm is very low (500rpm) after cold start, and it goes up to 1200 rpm after fully warm up. I also noticed the tacho meter is dancing crazy, I put in a 47kohm resistor in signal line but only get little improvement, seems like it need way higher resistence.

My car were running on Marelli coil with no dinoplex before, the idle rpm were stable and the tacho were accurate with 47kohm.

Has anyone use the Bosch Coil?

Ray - I use Bosch coils on ALL my cars. Also, I have installed them on various Dinos.

You DO NOT NEED a resistor with the coil. Of all the installations I've done, I have never put in a resistor.
