I finally had a chance to do some fast driving tonight. I got up to 180km/h on a strech of a hiway, I knew I could go over 200km/h if I didn't have to slow down for that sharp turn.

However, the brake truly disappointed me. I was braking from 180km/h down to 110km/h for a sharp turn. There was a burn smell immediately, the car pull slightly to the left and felt unstable. I never noticed this in normal driving. Could this be the brake or the wheel bearing or something else?

The P3000 tyre were really bad. So many time I lock the wheel during braking.

I also noticed the car has strong tendency to understeer in round'bout.

BTW, it was rainning lightly. The wiper was really slow, I will try to grease it when I have a chance. Amazingly I didn't get wet at all even with the top gone. I guess the wind current had protected me.

Whoa... slow down there pal ! Remember, it's 30 years old -- and using Italian engineering from 40 years ago. If you want to go around corners fast in the rain, get an Audi.

You get two "demerits" for your post: 1 = driving in the rain, 2 = driving in the rain without the top !!

Just kidding... but be careful with the Dino. There aren't enough on Earth to begin with.

I normally don't drive too crazy with the Dino, my Lancer Evo is twice as fast and cost only 1/4.
I only wanted to try out the feel of the Dino at its limit, so that I will know how to response to emergency situations. I don't want to crash a car with no air bag, no ABS, no roll bar, no crumble zone, no engine in the front...

Get your car looked at by someone that knows what they are looking at..... before you become a statistic.

Dinos are awesome little cars. Brakes are great if in good shape and on the correct and new tyres.
