The BOOT/ENGINE/PETRO lever back plate. Superformance selling an aluminum version for £85.00 which seem a little expensive. I couldn't find the original plastic version. Any idea?

Ray. Do some digging, they are out there, although Ferrari doesn't show the plate as an available separate part. Dennis McCann would be the best bet, I think.

Also, may as well get used to it, prices for Dino parts in particular, and Ferrari in general, can be pretty staggering.

I only need the plastic back plate, don't want to pay $300 for the whole assembly!

I will try to fix it with some fibre glass cloth, can you tell me how I can detach it from the car?

If it broke once it will break again. It just means that the plastic has gotten hard. It will most likely break more once you get it off. Just two screws at the base of the pull assembly.

I will put it back piece by piece tag glue them together with a little CA, place a thick glass fibre cloth on the back, apply epoxy on the cloth and let dry. It will be stronger than new.
