    Can someone please help? What was the first production year for the 206 Dino? Also when did the 246 production kick in??????

    Chairs - unknown as this was not required with the flares. but certainly as many as the flares cars that were built at the time. so, at least 200-250.

    flares- maybe 200-250 according to the Dino Register.

    Now. Many more cars have chairs than original. No points taken off at concours for it, as long as the car could have had them from the factory ('72-74?) and lots of folks have retro-fitted them becuase they look so nice in the car.

    My car had Daytona style seats installed in the late 70's to replace the original vinyl seats. I replaced them again two years ago, as they were really beat up. The old ones did go to a good home for refurbishment, as no old Ferrari part actually dies, it just goes to get restored. :)

    At Monterey in 1994 several of us were talking to the owner of the Dino that came in 3rd place and surprized to hear that he was a dealer only intending to sell the car at the show and that had added chairs and flairs to the car.
