I think many people are missing the point here.I own a 71 Dino 246gt and it is in my opinion the most beautiful car ever built its looks are timeless. So why change it ? The ford GT40 was a classic and when they re-invented it several million dollars later guess what it looks like the old one.
So if you must build a new one put a great engine in, tweak the suspension and brakes add all the toys you like but DO NOT MESS WITH THE SHAPE its a DINO dosnt that say it all

Well, as I see you live in Hollywood, I figure you don't have the same view to this as I have.

Ever since I was little, I've always associated Ferrari with exclusivity and rarity; Ferraris are, in my mind - every time I see a Ferrari on the road my heart beats 10 times faster. For me this is such a great experience that i remember almost every Ferrari's I've ever seen on the road, which is, of course, because I've only seen about 10 on the road ever.

I don't get the same feeling about say a Porsche - I a Porsche, just like the one I saw yesterday and the day before that. They are not special for me as a "spectator" for the car, which a Ferrari will always be; unless, of course, Ferrari's will become just as common as a Porsche - that would be my greatest fear with the Dino-concept.

Furthermore, I've never thought of a Ferrari as something "easy-attainable" - when you look at various threads on this boards, people often say "I finally did it!" when they bought their first Ferrari, or even stepping up from their first or second one. I don't think we would see that happen if a Ferrari becomes something nearly everyone could afford. The F430 is allready "cheap" enough for me...

Lower the headlamps to the level of the indicators, cover up the top of the lamp. Then fix the grille.

    Leave the rest as is.
