Hi nerodino, I would recomend that you strip back to bare steel, key the metal using 180 grit make sure the chassis is warm and apply 2 coats of epoxy primer, this is slow drying so apply with care to avoid runs. Once dry abrade with red scotch brite to provide a good key then apply 2 coats of a 2 pack wet on wet primer, as the name suggests you can over coat this product once it goes tacky or if you have dirt inclusions you can sand to remove once dry ( these wet on wet primers can be tinted to match the top coat colour ). Then I would recomend Glasurit 22 line rally black which is touch and has a classy finish. ** Be warned all this paint is nasty and the necessary health precautions must be taken ** cheers and good luck , Kev. Ps, take good care to mask every thing off as this paint is super sticky !!!!
